The New York Giants could spoil Detroitās chances of keeping up in the race for the NFC North with a victory today.
New York hasnāt had that great of a season as starting quarterback Eli Manning has thrown 25 interceptions this year, which happens to tie his career high. His touchdown numbers have dropped compared to the 26 he had last year.
Peytonās younger brother has looked great early on in Detroit as heās completed 12 of 20 passes for 137 yards and a touchdown pass. The touchdown toss went to wide receiver Jerrel Jernigan who has 61 receiving yards off four receptions with his longest pick up of the game being 20 yards.
The drive that resulted in a touchdown was nine plays that went for 49 yards and lasted a little over five minutes. For right now the Giants are trying to finish the year 7-9 and get back to the drawing board after Week 17.
I do expect Eli to attend older brother Peytonās playoff games tho.
Manningās pass to Jernigan was perfectly placed between the corner and safety.
