Week 16 was a low-scoring week in fantasy football overall, but an exciting and dramatic day for the playoff races with a panoply of different scenarios still in play for next week. Here’s how the fantasy week went down with the top performers and top under-performers at each position. (All point references are to ESPN standard scoring.)

Top Performers at QB

Peyton Manning-Denver Broncos: Manning threw for four touchdowns and 400 yards as the Broncos demolished Houston 37-13. While most of his production came late, he finished carrying many fantasy teams to their championships.

Andy Dalton-Cincinnati Bengals: Dalton matched Manning’s four touchdowns while throwing for 366 yards against the Vikings. I played against Manning and Dalton in a dual-QB league where each put up over 40 points. They definitely picked a great week to go off for their owners.

Geno Smith-New York Jets: Smith rewarded anyone who still had enough faith to start him even in dual-QB leagues. He finished with two touchdowns and 214 yards passing while adding a third TD on the ground while running for 48 yards.

Ben Roethlisberger-Pittsburgh Steelers: Big Ben battled the snow and threw a pair of touchdowns while throwing for 167 yards and adding another TD on his only rush of the day for 13 yards.

Nick Foles-Philadelphia Eagles: While he didn’t go off, Foles was an efficient 21/25 for 230 yards and a pair of scores as he led the Eagles to a big win on Sunday Night Football and got his team ready for a win-and-you’re-in showdown next week.
