Everyone is pretty much going out of their way to assume the Louisville Cardinals QB Teddy Bridgewater will be headed off to the NFL following the team’s upcoming bowl game on Saturday against Miami in the Russell Athletic Bowl.
However, Bridgewater himself has made nothing official to this point, and that still stands after Monday.
Following the team’s practice earlier today, Bridgewater was asked once again about what his intentions for 2014 are and he stated that he will wait until after the bowl game to sit down and evaluate the entire process before finalizing anything:
"“I feel that I’m ready, but I also feel that I’m not. That can go either way,” he told reporters. “You always have an area to improve on. After this game, I’ll evaluate everything.”"
This past Friday, Bridgewater sent out a series of semi-cryptic tweets which led many to assume that his days in Louisville are over, but now we’ll just have to wait and see after Saturday whether or not Bridgewater will lead the Cardinals into the ACC next season, or if he’ll try and become the savior of the Jacksonville Jaguars, like many assume.
