Oakland Raiders quarterback Terrelle Pryor found himself in an awkward position after his agent fired off comments to the Raiders organization where he said his client was being set up to fail by being given the team’s Week 17 start against the Denver Broncos.

As you would expect, Pryor wasn’t happy with the comments because they could reflect badly on him, so he took to social media to apology from the comments that his agent made.

“I apologize for the recent comments towards the Raiders organization,” Pryor wrote on Twitter. “That’s not what I’m about. I’m thankful for this opportunity given to me by this great organization and the phenomenal fans. I’m very excited to play with my teammates Sunday! We hope to make you (fans) proud!”

Pryor’s words are likely appreciated from the fans, but he can do more by going out and playing well.

If he struggles on the field, then Pryor could find himself in even more trouble that may leave him looking for a new job in the offseason.
