New York Giants running back Peyton Hillis missed last week’s game with a concussion, but he is finally set to return to the game just in time for the regular season finale. On the projected injury report for the team that was released on Christmas Day, Hillis was listed as “limited.”
What that means is that he has likely been cleared for contact and will be able to suit up in Week 17.
Paul Schwartz of the New York Post passed along the news:
Peyton Hillis also projected to go limited today so he and Andre Brown cleared of concussions. #nyg

If Hillis is cleared for the team’s final game of the season against the Washington Redskins on Sunday afternoon, he will back up running back behind Andre Brown.
