Titans’ Kenny Britt guarantees he will be No. 1 receiver next year

Tennessee Titans wide receiver Kenny Britt has kind of disappeared from the NFL landscape this year. Britt has 11 catches for 96 yards and the beginning of the season was marred by penalties and drops. Britt’s playing time then seemed to disappear.
“I am definitely surprised with me not playing. I really don’t know the reason, and I don’t ask the reason why, I just go out there and do my job,” Britt told Jim Wyatt of the Tennesseean. “Since I have been benched I have been working 10 times harder, . . . to show what I can do.
“It is definitely frustrating, but I try not to show it. I don’t want to show it because it is not about me. But I can promise you I am definitely going to keep fighting until the end.”
Britt, whose contract expires at the end of the season, thinks this could be his last year with the Titans. The team that signs him will get a No. 1 receiver, and Britt is full of confidence.
“I am going to be a No. 1 receiver somewhere else if I am not here next year, and that is guaranteed,” Britt said, via John Glennon of The Tennessean. “I am definitely going to be a receiver that makes plays on Sundays and makes something happen for a team.”
