The 2014 Pro Bowl rosters were announced and one of the notable snubs was Tampa Bay Buccaneers linebacker Lavonte David. He was fifth in the league with 137 tackles, and tied for fourth in the league with five interceptions. David also had six sacks on the season.
David vented on social media a bit and tweeted out “SNUBBED.” Bucs safety Mark Barron was equally upset:
I'm real deal pissed at some our fans for not getting @NewEra_54 into the pro bowl. Thts BS

Some fans took exception, to which Barron responded:
If u did yr part thn u should feel no need to comment.

It was also pointed out that fan voting only accounted for a third of the equation.
Fan vote counts for 1/3rd by the way RT @M_B_24 I'm real deal pissed at some our fans for not getting @NewEra_54 into the pro bowl. Thts BS

Barron backtracked and tried to explain that he was only addressing some fans, not all fans. He also wanted to clarify that he did indeed know how the voting system worked.
For those who feel like I'm callin put whol fan base... I'm not. Key word was SOME. And yes I'm very aware of how system works.
