Alex Smith extends Chiefs lead with impressive play (GIF)

The Kansas City Chiefs charged out to a 31-10 halftime lead and they wasted no time adding on the points in the third quarter. After a poor decision by Indianapolis Colts quarterback Andrew Luck that led to an interception from Chiefs safety Husain Abdullah, Chiefs quarterback Alex Smith was able to put forth an impressive effort to give the Chiefs yet another score.

Smith scrambled out of the pocket and forced the Colts defensive back to move forward to defend the run, when he dumped the ball over the defender and right into the hands of running back Kniles Davis, who is playing in place of the injured Jamaal Charles, for the easy score.

With the score, the Chiefs hold a 38-10 lead with plenty of ballgame left to play:
