For a game that was expected to be a shootout, there has been very little offense in this Wild Card match up between the Eagles and Saints.

The Saints took the lead with a field goal early, and this powerful Chip Kelly offense couldn’t get anything going to match it. Well, with a little under two minutes to go in the first half, Nick Foles took advantage of some great protection to hit Riley Cooper for a 12 yard touchdown.

As you can see from the GIF above, the Eagles’ offensive line gave Foles plenty of time to deliver the pass, and he really threaded the needle. The Saints would answer with a field goal, and it’s 7-6 heading into halftime. That’s hardly the score we expected to see in this one.
