Earlier on Monday it was brought up that the Los Angeles Clippers were interested in the services of free agent forward Hedo Turkoglu, but not much was made of it beyond that. But head coach Doc Rivers has now commented on the situation and confirmed that the Clippers are indeed interested in Turkoglu coming aboard.
Los Angeles recently signed point guard Darius Moore, a move that may lead some to think that the team is done shopping, but Rivers insists that Turkoglu is still in play for the team.
Clippers are still interested in Hedo. Rivers said point guard signing doesn't change that.

Initially, the Atlanta Hawks and Los Angeles Lakers showed an interest in Turkoglu with both teams going as far as to offer a trade to the Orlando Magic before they waived him.
The Clippers are sort of a surprise when it comes to interest in Turkoglu but they may emerge as the team who ends up signing him. The Lakers are still in play, but the Hawks have fallen back which means the Market for Turkoglu has shrunk, even though the same amount of teams are showing an interest in him as when he was waived by the Magic.
