Carolina Panthers quarterback Cam Newton is getting ready to watch his college team, the Auburn Tigers, take on the top-ranked Florida State Seminoles in the BCS National Championship game later today.

First, Newton will have to go to the Panthers team facility to begin preparation for this weekend’s game against the San Francisco 49ers in the Divisional Round of the NFL Playoffs, where he will lay his eyes on a fun prank that was played by the team’s kicker and Florida State alum Graham Gano.

Gano’s prank was short and simple. Ahead of today’s big game, he decided to hang a Florida State jersey in Newton’s locker.

Hopefully Gano’s Seminoles are able to come out on top in tonight’s big game or he better prepare for some retaliation from Newton.
