The Chicago Bulls are now 1-0 since trading forward Luol Deng to the Cleveland Cavaliers. Led by Taj Gibson, who scored 19 points, grabbed 10 rebounds and dished out three assists, the Bulls defeated the Phoenix Suns 92-87 at the United Center in Chicago, Illinois Tuesday night.

Joakim Noah had 14 points, 16 rebounds, six assists, one steal and one block and Jimmy Butler had 13 points, five rebounds, four steals and three assists. The Bulls also got huge contributions off of the bench from D.J. Augustin, who had 13 points and nine assists and rookie Tony Snell, who had 12 points and four rebounds.

Goran Dragic led all scorers with 21 points for the Suns. Gerald Green added 15 points while Miles Plumlee and Channing Frye scored 11 points apiece. Ish Smith had 10 points off of the bench.

The Bulls pushed their lead to 13 on a Noah five-footer with just over 10 minutes to go when the Suns began to fight back, cutting the lead to 85-81 with 2:13 to go. However, Kirk Hinrich answered with a three-pointer that all but put the Suns away.

The Bulls are now 14-18 while the Suns are 20-12.
