Unlike the divisional round games on Saturday in Seattle and Foxboro where wind and rain had some influence, Sunday afternoon’s meeting between the San Francisco 49ers and Carolina Panthers at Bank of America Stadium in Charlotte looks to be a great day to football.

A quick glance at the weather report tells us that there is no chance of precipitation throughout the day and that the temperatures should fluctuate between the low and mid-50s.

Wind gusts vary between 5 and 10 miles per hour, so it should be a relative non-factor.

For a game that has so much on the line, it is great to see that the outdoor elements will not have a big impact on the game. Instead, it will just come down to the players on the field as we see which of the two physical teams will be able to impose their will and advance to the NFC Championship game against the Seattle Seahawks.
