Denver Broncos wide receiver Eric Decker was hoping that he would get a shot at a big return in the punt game when he lined up on special teams and he got that opportunity near the end of the second quarter.
Decker was able to make a few slick moves to wiggle his way into the open space, where Chargers special teams players seemingly forgot to tackle.
After beating out the punter, Decker had a clear road to the endzone and could have given the Broncos a three touchdown lead. Unfortunately, Decker got taken down by the turf monster as he tripped himself and fell short of taking the punt the distance.
