The Denver Broncos defeated the San Diego Chargers in the Divisional Round of the AFC Playoffs. Before the game, there was a lot of talk about Broncos quarterback Peyton Manning’s future beyond the post season. There were reports that Manning wanted to continue playing, but there were also reports that it could be tied into a meeting and exam with a doctor.
Suggesting that a doctor would make the decision on whether Manning continues playing or not. After the game, Manning deflected questions about his future, and focused on what he wanted at the moment… a Bud Light.
“What’s weighing on my mind is how soon I can get a Bud Light in my mouth after this win,” Manning said, via USA Today. “I’ve really been, this team has been a one-week-at-a-time season. For all we’ve been through, losing our coach and losing different guys to injuries, that approach has served us well. I think we need to keep that approach from here on out.”
Can’t imagine the Coors Light people are too thrilled about that.
