It is clear that Texas A&M quarterback Johnny Manziel is going to be one of the most controversial draft prospects in the 2014 NFL Draft class, and that is becoming clearer by the day as we hear more comments from NFL scouts preparing for draft season.

The latest concern points towards Manziel’s behavior and personality, with the scout making it clear that he would not trust Manziel to lead his team.

From NFL insider Cecil Lammey, who is currently in Florida for the East-West Shrine Game:

It was obvious that jerk was not the word used in the exchange, so when I asked Lammey for clarification he responded, “starts with an ‘a’ ends with a ‘hole.'”

The personality and behavior issues are certainly questions that Manziel will need to answer during the draft process, and he will get every opportunity to present himself well to teams during private meetings.

For his sake, let’s hope he takes advantage of those opportunities.
