Remember when pictures of Tom Brady’s swollen hand was circulating the internet earlier in the season. At the time he downplayed all the fuss his hand caused.
“I didn’t know anyone knows what the back of my right hand looks like, but it looks fine to me and it feels good,” Brady said in comments distributed by the team, “I’ll be out there next week; you don’t have to worry about that.”
Now there is a report that he had ligament damage in his hand and he played through it.
Tom Brady's stomach bug caused a stir this week ... Interesting thing is how much more he dealt, fought through earlier in the year. ...

... Back in October, Brady suffered ligament damage in his throwing hand. It's healed now. But he had to fight through it then.

Brady's hand injury was the type that doesn't require surgery. So it resolved itself in time. Still, that adds more context to his season.
