New York Knicks’ forward Carmelo Anthony and Brooklyn Nets big man Kevin Garnett haven’t always gotten along.

When Garnett was with the Boston Celtics, he and Anthony got into several altercations and one allegedly involved Anthony waiting for Garnett outside of the arena, presumably to fight, at least verbally.

Then, of course there was the situation with Anthony’s wife, La La Vasquez. Garnett reportedly told Anthony his “tastes like Honey Nut Cheerios.”

“There’s some things as men that you just don’t say,” Anthony told Ian Begley of ESPN New York when he was asked about the incident.

However, after Garnett’s Nets blew out the Knicks 103-80 on Monday afternoon, Anthony was asked about Garnett and he told reporters that the two men had smoothed things over.

“I don’t have no problem with him,’’ Anthony told Marc Berman of the New York Post. “He don’t have no problem with me. We talk. We laugh. We joke. I see him out and abouts. No problems.’’
