Clippers at Pistons final score: Los Angeles rolls 112-103
Blake Griffin scored 25 points, grabbed five rebounds and dished out five assists and J.J. Redick scored 20 points and dished out six assists to lead the Los Angeles Clippers to a 112-103 victory over the Detroit Pistons at The Palace of Auburn Hills in Detroit, Michigan Monday afternoon.
DeAndre Jordan had a monster game, finishing with 16 points, 21 rebounds and four blocks and Jamal Crawford came off of the bench to score a team-high 26 points for the Clippers.
The Pistons were led by Rodney Stuckey, who poured in a game-high 29 points on 11-of-20 shooting to go with four rebounds and four assists off of the bench.
The Pistons took a two-point lead after one quarter of play, but the Clippers dominated the second quarter, exploding for 38 points to the Pistons’ 25 and rolled from there, building a 20-point lead at one point in the fourth quarter.
Josh Smith added 24 points and six rebounds while Andre Drummond scored 15 points, grabbed 11 rebounds, blocked two shots and had two steals for the Pistons.
Hedo Turkoglu, playing in his third game with the Clippers, was held scoreless on 0-of-4 shooting, but grabbed six rebounds in 15 minutes.
The Clippers are now 29-14 while the Pistons are just 17-24.
