During the AFC Championship, the Denver Broncos watched running back Knowshon Moreno and defensive back Tony Carter forced to leave early after suffering injuries. Both players took part in the second half before their injuries and now their status is in question for the Super Bowl in two weeks.

Moreno went down with a chest injury, while Carter suffered a concussion.

However, there is some good news.

While the Broncos would have to hope that Moreno and Carter could heal quickly to get back on the field in a week under normal circumstances, the Super Bowl bye week could give the players the extra time that they need to really get back to 100 percent.

The early diagnosis for both players was positive, so now the Broncos have to hope that they can avoid any setbacks.
