Warren Sapp reacts to Michael Strahan calling him a ‘coward’
By Peter Smith
The latest in a bizarre back and forth between Warren Sapp and Michael Strahan happened on Jim Rome’s radio show. Rome, never one to be afraid to instigate a situation told Sapp that Strahan called him a coward. Sapp responded by saying, “Pick the spot, and I’ll come see you and you can have a dose of it.”
It is unclear where this whole feud began but Sapp and Strahan have been picking at each other for a while and it has escalated in the past few days. Publicly, Sapp has been adamantly against Strahan making it into the Pro Football Hall of Fame when both were eligible the same year. Sapp made it; Strahan did not. Strahan is again up for the honor and it seems to be a matter of ‘when’ rather than ‘if’ for the former New York Giants defensive end.
Sapp has not backed off of his comments because he never does and Strahan has been coming back at him. There is no clear indication where this whole thing is heading but if the two want to fight, they could probably put it on Pay Per View and make a boatload of money. Considering Sapp’s recent financial situation, that might be what he is hoping to have happen.
