First off, I would like to congratulate former Chicago Bears’ linebacker and Carolina Panthers’ head coach Ron Rivera for winning NFL Coach of the Year. You can read more about Coach Rivera winning this honor by clicking here.

Now the actual awards show won’t be begin on FOX until 8pm eastern, but honors are still being handed out to those who earned them. This man definitely deserves this award after fans wanted him gone out of Carolina early on in the year.

I knew how great of a head coach he would become when he was given the opportunity after doing an outstanding job as defensive coordinator with the Chicago Bears from 2004-2006 and San Diego Chargers from 2008-2010. As a Chicago Bears fan, I was hoping he would make his way to Chicago to coach the team that he spent his entire NFL career with, but that didn’t happen.

Still a huge fan of the guy regardless and I love what he has done with the Carolina Panthers. Now today after receiving his award, Coach Rivera used the signature celebration that his star quarterback Cam Newton uses whenever he scores a touchdown.

Here’s a look at the Vine of Coach Rivera’s version of the ‘Super Cam’ that was posted on NFL’s official Twitter handle.
