The Philadelphia 76ers have made it no secret that they wish to be active at the trade deadline, as the names of Evan Turner, Thaddeus Young and Spencer Hawes have been floated out numerous times in trade rumors over the last month.

According to NBA writer Jake Fischer, as many as eight NBA teams bit on the trade rumors and contacted the Sixers in January about making a deal. While the Sixers aren’t looking to take any guaranteed years in a trade, they’re looking for draft picks and Fisher notes their attention has shifted from picks in the draft this summer to picks in the 2015 NBA Draft.

Philadelphia is definitely seeing the attention they wanted to see, the only question is will they find a deal. It’s still possible that they don’t make any trades, but with eight teams calling in the span of a month, the action in Philadelphia will only pick has the February 20th deadline approaches.
