WWE WrestleMania XXX may feature Daniel Bryan vs Triple H

WWE’s Daniel Bryan and Triple H during Monday Night RAW.

With CM Punk “leaving” the WWE, the creative team is scrambling to figure out what they’re going to do for WrestleMania XXX. A couple of matches looked like they were set in stone, but could be switched up due to Punk’s fall out with the company.

The original plan was to have Punk take on Triple H at Mania. I’m not sure what the stipulation was for the match, but this was one reason why he was so upset with the company. Bryan could have been matched up against his former Tag Team partner, Kane. Fans were disappointed that Bryan didn’t win the Royal Rumble and filed a petition on the White House’s website.

The petition picked up nearly 100,000 signatures but was eventually pulled because of terms of participation. Not exactly a huge issue that the President should be looking over, but at least those fans tried. But according to NoDQ.com, there’s a very good possibility that Daniel Bryan will be taking on Triple H instead.

Now before you get frustrated and start chanting “No! No! No!” at your computers, a stipulation to this match could be added. Last year at Summer Slam, Bryan finished off the then WWE Champion John Cena. Which led to Triple H dropping Daniel Bryan with a pedigree, allowing Orton to cash in his Money in the Bank brief case/contract.

We went through that whole “It’s not best for business” storyline which featured a few solid matches between Bryan and Orton. That may be coming back around for WrestleMania XXX. I think it’s going to come back up, leading Bryan to verbally attack the C.O.O. of the company, forcing Triple H to come out of retirement.

WWE’s pay per view after WrestleMania XXX is Extreme Rules, which will be held in Seattle, Washington. Bryan was born in Aberdeen, Washington but still considers Seattle as home. It’s a two hour drive both ways.

So imagine the pop this match will get if Daniel Bryan defeats Triple H at WrestleMania to receive a title shot in Seattle. It could possibly be bigger if he wins the WWE World Heavyweight Championship at Extreme Rules. I’m thinking bigger than CM Punk winning it from John Cena in Chicago at Money in the Bank in 2011.

What do you think WWE fans, would you approve of this outcome?
