Denver Broncos quarterback Peyton Manning and New England Patriots head coach Bill Belichick are adversaries on the field. Still, there is a mutual respect between the two.
“He’ll go down as the greatest coach of all time,” Manning said, via the NFL’s website.
“In so many ways, because of his talent and because of how good he is at the strategy and the execution of his offense, it is the ultimate challenge,” Belichick said.
Still, it has to be kind of awkward for the two of them to hang out. Belichick doesn’t exactly stand out as someone you want to hang out with anyways, much less play a round of golf with. Manning seems a little bit cooler and more fun to kick it with. He made comments about wanting a Bud Light after a playoff win over the San Diego Chargers, and don’t forget his hilarious line of ads.
