South Carolina defensive end Jadeveon Clowney is one of the most talented players in the 2014 NFL Draft class, and he will put his skill set on display later this month at the NFL Scouting Combine at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis.

There was some debate about whether or not Clowney would fully participate in the combine because of bone spurs in his foot that have slowed him down during the past two seasons, but he said on Thursday that he plans to fully participate in the event where he will likely blow away scouts.

Clowney made his comments during an appearance on The Dan Patrick Show.

During the discussion, Clowney also commented on his strength and goals for the combine. Clowney said that he is currently putting up 225-pound reps on the bench press “22 or 23 times,” but he hopes to get that number up to 25 before lifting in front of the scouts.

Clowney appears to be a virtual lock for the top three of the draft later this year, and we would expect him to solidify that standing when he participates in Indy.
