The Washington Wizards are finally turning their franchise around and are starting to make a commitment to the future and to stability. This started with the max extension that John Wall received in the offseason and looks to be continuing with supposed extension talks with Marcin Gortat.

Another name that looks to be a giant piece of the Wizards’ future is guard Bradley Beal, and his importance to the stability of their backcourt is one of the reasons the front office is not at all interested in your trade offers for him.

According to Steve Kyler from Basketball Insiders, the Wizards are telling teams calling them that Beal is not an option in trade talks.

"Wizards’ sources were fairly adamant yesterday that Beal is a non-starter for them in trade talks, which lines up exactly with what teams talking with Washington have said."

Trading Beal would be an insanely dumb idea for the Wizards, especially considering how much John Wall likes playing with him. Unless a deal comes along that blows them away and offers up a superstar, the Wizards are not going be moving Beal anywhere.
