The Auburn Tigers will have two offensive players, two defensive players and one special teams player representing them at the NFL Scouting Combine, set for Feb. 19-24 in Indianapolis.
On the offensive side of the ball, tackle Greg Robinson and running back Tre Mason will take part in the pre-draft showcase.
Robinson declared for the draft after his redshirt sophomore season. Some media outlets have Robinson ranked as the top tackle prospect in this year’s draft and he is projected to be a top 10 pick, possibly going to the St. Louis Rams or the Atlanta Falcons.
Mason broke Auburn school records this season with 1816 rushing yards and 23 touchdowns. He is one of the top running back prospects in this year’s draft, and is expected to be selected in the second round.
On the defensive side of the ball, defensive end Dee Ford and cornerback Chris Davis will also be at the Scouting Combine.
Ford was among the top pass rushers in the nation this year and was named the Most Valuable Player in the Senior Bowl. He is projected to be drafted late in the first round or early in the second.
Davis was a top punt returner this season and has shown some good coverage skills. He is projected to be drafted in the fourth round.
Finally, punter Steven Clark will also head to Indianapolis. He averaged 42.6 yards per punt this season.
