The NBA trade deadline is approaching rapidly and teams are starting to hammer out strategies when it comes to if they’re going to be buying, who they’re going to be buying and if they want to sell major pieces or not. One of the teams that are almost certain to be sellers are the Milwaukee Bucks, who own the worst record in the league and the best chance at the No. 1 pick in the draft this summer.
The Bucks have been one of those teams going in and out of trade rumors, with players being mentioned one day and then not mentioned the next and so on. NBA writers Reese Waters and Howard Beck tries to knife through all the speculation by saying logic suggests everyone on the roster, save for rookie sensation Giannis Antetokounmpo, are likely for sale as the deadline approaches.
Of course, the Bucks are looking for fair value in any trade, but not so much value that they’ll win their way out of the No. 1 pick. Larry Sanders, Ersan Ilyasova and guys like Luke Ridnour and Brandon Knight will all garner attention but there’s no guarantee that a deal to the Bucks liking will be offered for any of the veteran players.
