The Boston Celtics have very much been on the fence about the trade deadline as they appear to be in the mood to make moves one day and then shut down trade offers the next. We saw this when the team was gung-ho about making a deal for Omer Asik, went ahead and traded for Joel Anthony but have been cold on other offers.
According to Eddie Sefko from the SportsDayDFW, the Celtics might be back in the deal making mood as the deadline approaches.
"Boston is bound and determined to make moves before the deadline, from what I heard up there earlier this week. Not sure any of their players hold any real infatuation, other than Rondo (too pricey) and Sullinger (the one guy they want to keep). But they are in the deal-making mood."
No one is sure who the Celtics will trade, as they appear to want to build around Rajon Rondo and Jeff Green but could also end up moving him before the deadline.
