NBA All-Star Weekend: Skills Challenge Odds
The folks over at Bovada have released their most recent odds for each of the events during All-Star Weekend and they were kind enough to send those odds over.
The 2014 Taco Bell Skills Challenge took a different approach then the other events. Although it has star power from last year’s champion, Portland Trail Blazers’ point guard, Damian Lillard, it will feature some of the younger players, including four rookies.
There has also been a major change. Instead of an individual competition, the players will be paired in teams.
Lillard will pair with last year’s College Basketball Player of the Year in Utah Jazz point guard Trey Burke. They are the favorites.
Phoenix Suns’ point guard Goran Dragic, who is having a fantastic season and Oklahoma City Thunder point guard Reggie Jackson, who has done an excellent job filling for the injured Russell Westbrook, are next.
Toronto Raptors’ swingman DeMar DeRozan and another rookie, Milwaukee Bucks’s guard Giannis Antetokpunmp and the team of two rookies, Philadelphia 76ers’ guard Michael Carter-Williams and Orlando Magic guard Victor Oladipo, are each 3-1 to win the challenge.
