Buffalo Bills veteran quarterback Kevin Kolb is set to make $3.6 million in 2014. That is if he’s not cut.

Kolb can’t seem to catch a break. The man has suffered a handful of concussions over the last couple of years and spend the entire 2013 season on the injured reserve because of one. Hes had some issues with taking blows to the head and it appears to be a problem.

So big of a problem, that he may be contemplating retirement. According to head couch Doug Marrone via ESPN, he’s unsure if the 29 year old quarterback will continue to play or not.

"“He’s under contract and I’m not aware of really what exactly is going on right now, whether he’s planning to come back, whether he’s not going to come back. I have no been informed of anything to that nature.” Marrone via ESPN."

Right now Kolb is probably discussing things with his family. But if he does decide to continue his football career, I feel as if he’s going to be released by the Bills. And with Michael Vick, Matt Cassel on the market, would he ever land a starting quarterback job again?

In all honesty, he should decide to walk away before he suffers anymore damage. He doesn’t want to end up like other veterans who have had issues with their brains when he gets older. Play it safe and become a full-time family man or become an analyst.

Kevin Kolb should be making his decision sometime soon, but right now it’s not looking good.
