The NBA trade deadline is approaching and with less than a week until the deadline arrives, it’s starting to become crunch time for teams looking to make moves. One team that is looking to shake things up are the Philadelphia 76ers, who are shopping Thaddeus Young, Spencer Hawes and Evan Turner for draft picks.

According to Keith Pompey of The Philadelphia Inquirer, the Sixers are looking to pick up as many draft picks as they can at the deadline.

"The franchise wants to gain future compensation in exchange for Evan Turner, Spencer Hawes, and Thaddeus Young, said the source, who spoke on condition of anonymity. With the most cap space in the league and an open roster spot, the Sixers will consider acquiring an expiring contract from a team looking to dump a salary. But that most likely will also involve receiving a draft pick."

We knew that the Sixers wanted to acquire picks at the deadline, but they seem to be more serious than ever in picking up first-rounders, according to Pompey.
