St. Louis Rams quarterback Sam Bradford is coming off of a torn ACL and many have wondered whether or not he will be the team’s quarterback moving forward, but head coach Jeff Fisher put an end to any of that speculation with his recent comments.

Fisher appeared on Mike and Mike in the Morning to discuss his team, when he commented on Bradford’s progress in rehab and where he stands with the team entering the offseason.

“Sam’s doing great with the rehab,” Fisher said. “He’s really excited. He took on a leadership role last year and he’s maintained that and he’s our quarterback, and we’ve said that.

“We talk about extensions with all our players under contract. Whether or not we do so with him, I don’t know where all this came from, but Sam’s our quarterback. He’s going to be under center.”

Bradford counts more than $17 million against the Rams salary cap, so they would  likely appreciate a new deal that could lower that number, but Fisher doesn’t seem to concerned about how everything will play out leading up to the season.
