The NBA trade deadline will start to bring about more and more rumors as more teams try to make deals happen that can turn them into true contending threats in the second half of the season. One such team looking to buy at the deadline are the Charlotte Bobcats, but yet another deal seems to have fallen through.

According to Adrian Wojnarowski from Yahoo! Sports, the Bobcats were gaining traction in trade talks with the Milwaukee Bucks but negotiations have crumbled. Woj reports that Charlotte was after Gary Neal and Caron Butler but a deal looks to be dead for now.

The Bobcats have been rumored to be after Taj Gibson, Brandon Bass and Evan Turner but it appears that they’re looking far beyond just those players and to veterans who can help them win now.

There’s no guarantee that the Bobcats make a move, but it’s looking like they’ll be very active as the deadline nears.
