It’s been no secret that the Philadelphia 76ers are looking to move Evan Turner, Spencer Hawes and possibly Thaddeus Young before the deadline, but the question has been who will take them. Turner has drawn considerable interest, with the Phoenix Suns and Charlotte Bobcats showing interest.

But according to Marc J. Spears, the 76ers have more options than to make a one-on-one trade with someone. Spears states that the Sizers could play the role of a third team in a blockbuster three-team trade looking for one more piece to make a deal happen.

"The Sixers will be looking to move Evan Turner and Spencer Hawes and also could be a third team in a big trade, a source said."

We saw this discussed a week ago when a three-team deal between the Sixers, Bobcats and Suns seemed to work out financially. Such a deal would allow the Sixers to possibly get more draft picks, which is something they’ve been trying to do for a while and is the motivating factor behind making a deadline trade.
