NBA Trade Rumors: Los Angeles Clippers, Milwaukee Bucks interested in Austin Rivers
By Josh Hill
The New Orleans Hornets are looking to make some trades at the deadline and there could be some shakeups coming to the Big Easy. While Eric Gordon and Tyreke Evans are names to watch, Chad Ford from ESPN.com is reporting that the Pelicans are also keen on moving Austin Rivers before the deadline as well.
Ford states that the Milwaukee Bucks and the Los Angeles Clippers are both interested in acquiring the guard.
"There is some moderate interest around the league in Rivers. Bucks among the teams interested. Clipps are too. But I’ve been told the Pelicans are pushing for an even bigger deal that would ship off Tyreke Evans and/or Eric Gordon."
An interesting landing place for Rivers has always been in Los Angeles where his father Doc Rivers is in serious need of guard depth. There’s nothing to say the deal will be done, but it’s clear that there is interest in Rivers and he may be gone before the deadline arrives.
