The Milwaukee Bucks are going nowhere this season but it doesn’t appear that they will be making any trades at the deadline. Despite being in a position where teams normally dump fuel overboard, the Bucks aren’t actively pursuing any trades and that’s why they’re hesitant to move Ersan Ilyasova.
According to Alex Kennedy form Basketball Insiders, the Bucks aren’t ready to just give up Ilyasova and may not move him before the deadline passes.
"The Milwaukee Bucks have been receiving calls about Ersan Ilyasova recently, but the team is unlikely to part ways with him unless they receive an offer they can’t refuse, according to league sources. Milwaukee’s asking price on Ilyasova has been incredibly high, and sources say it’s because owner Herb Kohl is a huge fan of Ilyasova and believes that he can be a star player in the NBA."
The Bucks have been rumored in deals but things just keep happening that derail them. Larry sanders got injured and was taken out of trade talks and now it appears the Bucks are too attached to Ilyasova to want to move him.
