The Cleveland Cavaliers have been in trade rumors since early on in January after they traded for Luol Deng out of the blue. But while they’ve been quiet since that trade, Cleveland is starting to get more and more active as the deadline on Thursday afternoon approaches.
One trade being discussed is a potential three-team deal that would send Jarrett Jack to the Sacramento Kings.
ESPN has learned Cavs are in talks w/Sacramento on deal to swap Jarrett Jack for Jason Thompson. BUT Cavs looking for third team to route JT

As talks currently stand, I'm told Cavs NOT inclined to send Jarrett Jack to Sacramento UNLESS they find third team to take Jason Thompson

As ESPN reported Monday, Kings were at head of line for JJack w/Nets. BKN moved onto MThornton when CLE couldn't find third team for JTerry

Cleveland may not make a trade before the deadline passes, but it’s very clear that they’re trying to make something happen, even if they’re just the middle man in a bigger trade.
