On Thursday night, Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo Sports reported the Orlando Magic and Glen “Big Baby” Davis were working on a buyout after the Magic were unable to trade him before Thursday afternoon’s deadline. Wojnarowski also pointed out the Los Angeles Clippers were a “strong” favorite to sign Davis if he was bought out.
Now, both Wojnarowski and Josh Robbins, who covers the Magic for the Orlando Sentinel, have reported the buyout has been agreed to and will be finalized Friday morning.
Orlando and Davis have reached agreement on a buyout and parting will be official on Friday morning, league source tells Yahoo.

The players' union will review the buyout terms. Once the union gives its OK, it'll be a done deal, I'm told.

Both Davis and the Magic were unhappy with each other, so Davis can now try to join a contender, like the Clippers.
Davis is averaging 12.1 points, 6.3 rebounds and 1.6 assists per game this season.
