The NBA trade deadline is in just a few hours and there are some deals being kicked around that seem too good to be true. While deals can happen very fast, as evidenced by the Steve Blake trade last night and the Spencer Hawes trade on Thursday morning, trades with big names tend to takes a lot longer to develop.

Still, Marc Berman from the New York Post is reporting that the Oklahoma City Thunder are interested in Iman Shumpert and Tim Hardaway Jr in a piece published after Shumpert’s injury.

"According to a source, Oklahoma City has expressed interest in both Shumpert and rookie Tim Hardaway Jr., though the latter is viewed currently as a virtual untouchable."

It’s unclear how Shumpert’s injury affects interest the Thunder reportedly have in him, as it would seem his sprained MCL has killed all talks. Anything is possible though, but the Knicks trading away Tim Hardaway Jr or the Thunder taking on an injured and struggling Iman Shumpert seems unlikely at this point.
