The NBA trade deadline is at 3pm ET today and there are still a ton of trades that have been talked about that aren’t close to completion yet. One such player who is still floating around is Sixers star Evan Turner, who has been on the block for weeks now but hasn’t yet been moved.
Philadelphia’s initial asking price of a first-round pick seems to be too rich for most teams, as the quality of the draft seems to be scaring away general managers who are being asked to give up picks. This has caused the Sixers to rethink their asking price and adjust accordingly.
Unable to secure a 1st-round pick in a deal for Evan Turner, Sixers may now take a 2nd as part of package for '10 No. 2 pick, sources say.

Philly has plenty of room to take back salary for Turner and is averse to signing him to a nearly $9M qualifying offer this summer.

It’s clear that this might end up being n anticlimactic deadline, as the Sixers looked almost certain to make a move from what was being reported, but they’re now having to adjust things in the 11th hour to accommodate other general managers.
