With the NBA trade deadline less than 12 hours away, we’re starting to hear players and teams only scarcely mentioned in the past become hotter and hotter commodities while teams who have been in the trade rumor party for a while are starting to leave.

The Phoenix Suns appear to be in the latter category, as despite white hot rumors that they were going to move their attractive trade package of Emeka Okafor and first-round picks, the Suns may not be making a move. Sam Amick from USA Today notes that the team is still active, but there a growing chance they stand pat.

This would be wholly disappointing to many fans around the NBA who were hoping to see more trades go down before the deadline. It’s still possible for the Suns to make a move, but it’s more likely that we see other teams move role players before the Suns make a big trade.
