The 2014 World Cup returns to the center stage of the sports world on June 12, with over a month of pageantry and drama from Brazil.

The first game for the U.S. comes on Jun. 16 against against Ghana and all of the games for the U.S. are carried on ESPN. In fact, the network will air every game on ESPN, ESPN2 or ABC as well as on the WatchESPN or WatchABC apps ensuring fans will be able to catch all the action.

This is the second time that Brazil has been the host country for the World Cup, with the first time coming in 1950. Spain is the defending champion having knocked off the Netherlands 1-0 in the 2010 World Cup.
