The Los Angeles Clippers made a minor trade before the deadline passed but failed to pull the trigger on a deal that would have landed them a few players from the New York Knicks. After passing on the opportunity to acquire Iman Shumpert, the Clippers are apparently still interested in acquiring Knicks players — well, former ones at least.

According to Sam Amick from USA Today, the Clippers are reportedly interested in the services of Metta World Peace once his buyout with the Knicks is finalized.

The Clippers just recently added Orlando Magic buyout victim Glen Davis and are apparently not done shopping. It’s unclear the type of interest that Metta World Peace will get on the market but it’s clear that at least one team will be interested once he starts looking for another job with a contender.
