As soon as the Philadelphia 76ers traded guard Evan Turner and big man Lavoy Allen to the Indiana Pacers for picks and veteran forward, it appeared certain the 76ers were going to buy him out.
After all, the 76ers have the the second worst record in the league, have lost 11 straight games, including a 130-110 blowout loss to the team with the worst record in the league, the Milwaukee Bucks, on Monday night, and have shown no nice of even thinking about winning games. In fact, the 76ers are playing about as poorly as an NBA team can play, so we keep a veteran that may actually help your team when you have no intentions of keeping him beyond this season?
Although the 76ers appeared to have interest in keeping Granger, it looks like they will indeed be buying him and are working on a deal to that right now.
Sixers, Danny Granger still in discussions on buyout, per sources. Granger must be on a team's roster by Sat. to be postseason eligible.

Twitter Cops on the case, point out that Granger only needs to be waived by Sixers by Sat to be playoff eligible. Thanks for your diligence.

The Chicago Bulls, Miami Heat, New York Knicks and San Antonio Spurs are all reportedly interested in Granger.
