The Chicago Bulls were one of many teams that didn’t make a trade at the deadline but that doesn’t mean they’re not going to make a move still. The March 1st buyout  deadline is almost as important, if not more important, than the trade deadline and the Bulls are one of a handful of contending teams looking at free agents to sign.

According to ESPNChicago blogger Nick Friedell, the Bulls have been scouting out some free gent talent and head coach Tom Thibodeau says the team will look into someone if they fit.

Per ESPN.com:

"“We could,” Thibodeau said before the game against the Golden State Warriors. “I know [general manager] Gar [Forman] and [executive VP] John [Paxson] are looking at the market and watching how it shapes up.“Again, if something is a good fit for us and we think can help then we may take a shot at it.”"

There are some veteran names on the market that might help the Bulls but only a few are flashy. Chicago has never been looking for flashiness though, but they are looking to stay out of the luxury tax which may keep them from signing someone.

Danny Granger remains an option, but even a little known veteran players may be boxed out if the Bulls feel they cost too much to sign.
