For those Pittsburgh Steelers fans that were worried that they had seen the last of Troy Polamalu violently roaming the secondary in the Steel City can put those worries to rest as the team has signed Polamalu to a new deal that carries him through 2016. This is huge news on both sides of the ball as the Steelers look to rebound from a lackluster 2013 season. Although they came close to turning it all around and narrowly missed the playoffs, the veteran leadership and experience that both Polamalu and Miller bring to the table will no doubt come in handy as they get things back on the right track.
At this time, terms of the deal for each player have not been disclosed, but it’s guaranteed that both will be back.
