When the Pittsburgh Steelers entered the offseason with very little room under the salary cap, it appeared that some of the veterans on the roster could be handed their walking papers as cap casualties.
However, if Wednesday has been any indication, that will not be the route the Steelers choose to go.
After announcing that they would not be releasing Troy Polamalu, the team has announced that they have re-signed safety Will Allen. Allen’s agent, Blake Baratz, passed along the news.
Congrats 2 my man @WillAllenWAF on re-signing w/ the @steelers. Yr 11 here we come. What a blessing. It's an honor 2 work with you Will.
