2014 NFL Mock Draft: Todd McShay releases latest update, has Blake Bortles to Texans

On Thursday morning, ESPN NFL Draft analyst Todd McShay released his latest updated Mock Draft, and there has been a change at the top.

In his latest predictions, McShay has the Houston Texans taking UCF QB Blake Bortles with the number on overall pick, a sentiment that has been shared by a few more experts as of late. After a strong showing at the NFL Scouting Combine, Bortles’ stock has risen tremendously, which gives landing in Houston a great chance to come to fruition.

As far as the rest of the grouping, as you can see he has star defensive end Jadeveon Clowney heading to the Rams at number two overall and another hyped-up QB, Teddy Bridgewater, heading to the Jacksonville Jaguars.

Another notable prediction in this top-10 is that of Texas A&M receiver Mike Evans to the Detroit Lions at 10. Much like Bortles, a good Scouting Combine outing has put him in the good graces of a lot of teams in the early going of the Draft. The prospect of he playing opposite Calvin Johnson is scary to ponder.
